Less than an hour until Christmas ends for 2007. It's been quite a year and I am incredibly inclined to just exclaim to the world that I have been so blessed and have been given a second chance. It's been a while since I've even been on xanga, but I wanted to mark this day for myself- to come back to in ten years and read and see the things I've overcome and to see the change that has taken over me. I never felt so overwhelmed by such a calming feeling inside of me. It's definitely a change from the prior overwhelming feeling of stress and too much to do with too little time. Next, 2008 will come and I hope that I won't faulter. To those who have stuck by my side and those who gave me challenges, 2007 yielded a 360 turn in my life.

JAN 26- 28, 2007

Friday, the 26th, Ruby and I departed to go to Las Vegas, Nevada. It was her Christmas Present and since I was unfortunately not eighteen in December, we had to wait. Well, the drive was three and a half to four hours, which is long, but not as long as driving to San Francisco. Anyway, the whole drive there was filled with listening to music and just talking. It was fun, despite that slow drivers should get off the road. When we got there, it was around 7 o'clock and after we got cleaned up and ready, we left to go eat on the strip. Our hotel was around six miles away from the strip, which was retarded, yet we were still there. If only one of us were twenty one. Other than that, the hotel room was pretty immense. I had my own living room, bedroom with a king sized bed, bathroom, as well as a small jacuzzi tub. Ruby had the same in her own room. HAHA. That night we walked around the strip, the shops in the Bellagio, Caesar's Palace, and Paris, dining at Spago by Wolfgang Puck. The food was pretty delicious- well, for me. The next day, we went to the Secret Garden at the Mirage to see the dolphins, lions, tigers, leopards, as well as the llamas. Then we just strolled around the strip. At night, we ate at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant at Paris. It was quite the experience. The food was amazing and the view from the restaurant was breathtaking. This was definitely the highlight of the trip.

For Friday, January 19, my co-workers and I went bowling, COSMIC BOWLING. Well, it was for my birthday, in which I finally turned legal, the big ONE EIGHT. It was awesome. That's all I can say. We bowled the night away and afterwards, ate at Denny's. I got home at around two in the morning, slept for a bit, and then woke up and opened at Macys. Other than having to wake up early, I had an awesome time. Thanks A Lot Guys! Anyway, the pictures and speak for themselves.
